Taskin to be fit soon!

Right-arm pacer Taskin Ahmed got injury in his muscle, when he did fielding during the Bangladesh-Zimbabwe series, which concluded recently.
After that the right-arm pacer has been included in the 15-member Bangladesh squad for the upcoming ICC T20 World Cup, which is scheduled to be held at the United States of America and the West Indies from June 2 to June 29.
The members of Team Management of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) thought Taskin Ahmed will miss first two matches of ICC T20 World Cup.
But Chief Selector of the BCB Gazi Ashraf Hossain Lipu said to the newsmen on Saturday, ” Our physiotherapist Bayezid Islam acknowledged me that Taskin Ahmed was underwent another MRI.
According to the MRI report, Taskin is improving rather than which we thought.”
Lipu said, ” If everything goes well, Taskin will bowl from June 1.
He will take part in the strength and fitness training.
I hope he will bowl properly with full run up from June 5.”
“According to the rule of International Cricket Council (ICC) the last date of the change of the World Cup squad was on May 24.
As Taskin’s condition is improving, we did not do any change in our squad and we have retained the name of Taskin Ahmed in our 15-member Bangladesh Cricket squad,” the Chief Selector added.
“We just got the reports [of the MRI scan] and talked to the doctor, and it seemed the fracture is almost healed and now we will slowly introduce him to short run-up bowling and later increase the intensity.
He is not having any problem with running and now we will be doing throwing sessions in the coming days before starting to bowl with short run-ups.
We are hopeful he will be available from the opening game of the World Cup if he continues to progress in this manner,” Lipu added.
