Schoolgirl held for casting fake vote

A teenager and a school girl were arrested while casting fake votes in the 2nd phase of Upazila Election voting in Katiadi of Kishoreganj on Tuesday. The incident took place at Fulbaria Government Primary School Polling Station of Sahshram-Dhuldia Union of katiadi.

The two detained named Md. Shifatuzzaman (17), son of Md. Anisuzzaman, a resident of Fulbaria village of Katiadi Upazila, and Tamanna Akhtar (17), daughter of Kanchan Mia in Nawabaria village of Katiadi, said Mazharul Islam, Presiding Officer in the center.

Later, Senior Judicial Magistrate Riazul Kausar came and ordered to send them to court as they were minors. Legal action will be taken against them through child court.
