JP President Ershad exchanges views with Ctg leaders

Chairman of Jatiya Party , former President and special envoy of the Prime Minister Hossain Md. Ershad stayed Chittagong for eight hours for attending a series of official and political meetings of the party in the port city yesterday.
Former President arrives Chittagong at about 9 am in Chittgong airport from Dhaka by air . He directly came to posh hotel Peninsula from airport w here attended the Board meeting of the Union Bank Ltd at about 11 am. After ending of the board meeting of the UB , he exchanged views with the leaders of JP city , north and south district units at Muradpur city office .
HM Ersahd was accompanied by JP Secretary General Ziauddin Ahmed Bablu, Vice chairman Morshed Murad and other local leaders.
During the views exchanging with the party leaders, he discussed the possible candidate o f the Chittagong city corporation Mayor election, sources said. He left Chittagong in the evening for Dhaka.
