Seminar on “Bangla Shishu Natter Udvob o Bikash” at JnU

A seminar titled “Bangla Shishu Natter Udvob o Bikash (Emergence and Development of Bangla Children Drama)” organised by South Asian Study Circle was held on Sunday at Sigmund Freud Conference Hall of Jagannath University (JnU).
JnU Vice-chancellor Prof Dr Mizanur Rahman was present as chief guest while Prof Dr Helena Ferdousi, Dean of Faculty of Social Science was present as principal discussant in the programme.
Assistant Prof Monalisa Das of Kazi Nazrul Islam University in West Bengal presented the keynote paper titled “Emergence and Development of Bangla Children Drama”.
Assistant Prof Biman Samaddar of Santipur College of India presented a research paper titled “A comparison between the Identities of women sufferers of the Indian borders”.
Dr Md Abdul Halim Pramanik, Associate Professor, Department of Drama and Music, and Dr Milton Biswas, Associate Professor, Department of Bangla of JnU, were also present as the discussants on the presented papers.
The seminar was presided over by Prof Dr Arun Kumar Goswami, Chairperson of Political Science Department of JnU and Director of South Asian Study Circle.
Assistant Prof Md. Moynul Haque, and Nibedita Roy, Lecturer of Political Science Department were moderated the seminar.
