Massive show ‘Shark Tank’ hits Bangladesh

“Shark Tank Bangladesh” premiered with a bang, offering a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative business ideas. The debut episode, aired on Bongo and Deepto TV, witnessed four promising ventures seeking investment from seasoned investors known as “Sharks.”
The lineup featured a diverse range of concepts, from revolutionary book-sharing platforms to organic cooking mixes. “Booktionary,” introduced by founder Mehedi Hasan Nayon, garnered a Tk 30 lakh investment from Sharks Nazim Farhan Chowdhury and Sami Ahmed. Similarly, Shayla Sharmin’s “Cookoly,” offering organic ready-to-cook mixes, secured Tk 30 lakh from Sharks Golam Murshed, Nazim Farhan Chowdhury, and Ahmed Ali.
