5- daylong handicraft exhibition kicks off

Finance Minister Abul Mal Abdul Muhith Friday inaugurated a five-day handicrafts exhibition at the National Museum at city’s Shahbag area aimed at promoting traditional products.
“Bangladesh is a land of rich cultural heritage and it is visible in every walk of life,” he said while inaugurating the event.
The Minister applauded the initiative for holding the fair saying it gave a big opportunity to the craftsmen by providing them with a platform to showcase their products.
He urged the well off in the society to extend their helping hands towards the craftsmen.
