Agri officer transferred on trivial issue

A mysterious letter has been issued to a Sub-Assistant Agriculture Officer Md. Salauddin Sujan regarding transfer to Dinajpur due to a trivial incident in Shibalaya Upazila Agriculture Office. This has created great anger and many questions among the locals, and departmental officials and employees.
It is known that on April 2, a person named Fazlur Rahman from Gaherpur village of Shibalaya upazila came to the agriculture office with rice seedlings and asked the officials for the phone number of the Deputy Director of the district agriculture office. When Salauddin Sujan asked about the problem, Fazlu became agitated and started abusing. Fazlu went to another room of the office and misbehaved with the officials demanding the same. While some local journalists were recording the scene, at one point, the upazila agriculture officer Razia Darafda wanted to know the incident.
To investigate the incident, the higher authorities formed a two-member committee with Additional Director PP Md. Shahidul Islam and Additional Director AP Md. Mamun Yakub. In this incident, on April 2, the Upazila Agriculture Officer Razia Tarafdar gave notice to Sujan to show cause within three working days.
