Fake ASI held

Police arrested a fake ASI named Alauddin Suman (37) from Kamardah village area of Baraigram upazila of Natore. According to police sources, the person named Sumon went to Joari Union’s Kamardah village in the upazila on Wednesday afternoon. There he presented a fake identity card identifying himself as a police ASI. Later, he demanded Tk 50 thousand from a local youth Kaushar Ahmed saying that he would get a job as a railway TC. If the local people are suspicious of his speech, they inform the police at the police station. On receiving the information, the police came to the spot and arrested Suman.
Shafiul Azam Khan, OC of Baraigram police station, said that the arrested Suman is the son of Rafiqul Islam of Dakshin Mahadevpur village of Feni.
