SC eases dress code for summer

The Supreme Court’s senior judge discussed the uniform code with Chief Justice Obaidul Hassan amid the ongoing heatwave, Supreme Court Registrar General Md Golam Rabbani said Thursday (April 4).

Judges and lawyers can attend court sessions without wearing the black gown in this sweltering heat.

Meanwhile, judges and lawyers of all courts and tribunals in the country will wear a white full-sleeve shirt or white saree or salwar kameez and a white neckband or black tie without the black gown.
