Stringent security measures taken ahead of Eid

The district Police in Kishoreganj have taken all necessary and strict security measures to keep the law and order and traffic situations under control to ensure the people ahead of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, likely to be celebrated on April 12. “Check posts have already been set up in.8 municipalities and 13 upazila and shopping malls, and patrolling has been enhanced on highway in the district ahead of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr,” said Superintendent of Police (SP) of Kishoreganj Mohammad Rasel Sheikh PMM (Bar), BPM (Sheba) while speaking a crime meeting at police lines drell shet on Thursday noon. Special attentions would be given to some key points including Banks, Financial organisations and around the shopping malls. The police identify and take actions against muggers, pickpockets, doping gangs and unauthorised vehicles.
The law enforcement agencies is working tirelessly to stop land grabbing and to help people lead a hassle free life, he said, adding that everybody should be aware of preventing cyber-crime. Additional SP (Crime, Trafffic and Ops) Al-Amin Hossien underscored the need to set up close circuit (CC) cameras at Bus terminals, Rail stations, town’s high-rise building and shoppingmalls.
