BSc in EEE secures 5-year BAETE-IEB accreditation

The BSc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) program at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) has received accreditation renewal for a remarkable five-year period from the Board of Accreditation for Engineering and Education (BAETE) under the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB), Dhaka, making it the lengthiest term ever for an EEE program in Bangladesh.
The renewal, spanning from 2024 to 2029 under the latest BAETE Manual version 2.1, highlights the program’s commitment to excellence in engineering education. IUB’s EEE Department expresses gratitude to key contributors for their pivotal roles in the accreditation renewal process. Prof. M. Abdur Razzak, Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at IUB and Professor of the EEE Department, along with Prof. Feroz Ahmed, former Head of the EEE Department, Dr. Md. Kafiul Islam, Associate Professor, and Chair of the Program Self-Assessment Committee, and Mr. Nazmus Sakib, Research and Development Officer of the EEE Department, played vital roles.
