25 buildings, 15 shops gutted at Aricha Ghat

The famous wood market located in the middle of the important Aricha Ghat of Shibalaya Upazila has been destroyed by a terrible fire worth several crores of taka. At least 25 buildings, including 15 shops, a house, and a saw mill, were gutted in the early morning fire on Monday.
Besides, the bakery factory of Abdur Rashid member was burnt down in another fire incident in Jafarganj market of the upazila.
It is reported that a fire broke out in the wooden shop next to the house of Sachin Sutradhar in the wood market area during the morning hours on Monday night. The fire spread quickly.
