GIFS members visits BARI

A delegation from Global Institute for Food Security (GIFS), Canada visits Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) on Wednesday. BARI scientists and officers welcomed GIFS member’s delegation at the time of their arrival in the institute. BARI Director (Support and Services) Dr. Ferdouse Islam gave a welcome address at DG’s conference room.
Dr. Andrew Sharp, Bangabandhu Research Chair in Food Security of GIFS; Dr Ashutosh Sarker, Bangabandhu Research Chair, GIFS, BARC; Director (Oilseed Research) Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam; Director (Pulses Research Centre) Dr. Md. Saleh Uddin; Chief Scientific Officer (Soil Science Division) Dr. Habib Mohammad Naser; Chief Scientific Officer (Biotechnology Division) Dr. Mahmuda Khatun; Chief Scientific Officer (Oilseed Research) Dr. Ferdousi Begum and Senior scientists from various Division/Centre of BARI were present on the occasion.
Later, the delegation visits various laboratories and research field in BARI and expressed their satisfaction by seeing the activities of advancement and achievements of Institute.
