Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman of Bangladesh reached Chennai of India on Tuesday to play for Chennai Super Kings in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL).
Mustafizur Rahman began his IPL campaign playing Sunrisers Hyderabad. Then, he played for Mumbai Indians in IPL.
After that, he played for Rajasthan Royals in IPL.
Later, he played for Delhi Capitals in the Indian franchise based cricket competition. The ‘Cutter Master’ will play for Chennai Super Kings in this year’s IPL.
Mustafizur Rahman played for Bangladesh Cricket team in the third and last One Day International (ODI) match against Sri Lanka at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram on Monday last.
He bowled well as he bagged two wickets for 39 runs after bowling nine overs.
But he could not bowl his last over as he became injured.
Later, he left the field after riding on a stretcher.
Later, he took part with his teammates to celebrate with the ODI winning trophy at the match-venue of Chattogram on the same day.
Captain of Bangladesh Cricket team Najmul Hossain Shanto said, ” Mustafizur Rahman is now in a good shape.”
Before leaving the country for Chennai on Tuesday, Mustafizur Rahman gave a status on his Facebook.
He wrote, ” Excited and looking forward to my new assignment.
Heading to Chennai for IPL 2024.
Keep me on your prayers so that I can deliver my best.”
