Due to the decrease in temperature, the outbreak of winter has again been seen in Pabna’s Ishwardi and surrounding areas. Since February 14, Ishwardi’s temperature was fluctuating between 13.5 degrees to 19.5 degrees. From yesterday Wednesday (March 6) the temperature has started to decrease again. But before that, on March 5, the temperature was 18.5 degrees Celsius.
Nazmul Haque Ranjan, observer of Swardi Meteorological Office, said that 12.5 degrees was recorded as the temperature dropped by 6 degrees on Wednesday (March 6) in a span of 24 hours. The next day, Thursday (March 7), it further dropped to 11.4 degrees. People of all classes and professions are suffering due to the rapid drop in temperature. From evening to night and in the morning it is not possible to go anywhere in the house and outside without winter clothes.
Meanwhile, fluctuating temperatures have led to outbreaks of colds, coughs and fevers. Ishwardi Upazila Health Complex doctor Dr. Abdul Baten said that due to fluctuating temperature, people are suffering from cold, fever and cough. He said that children are being affected more.
