Mini School Handball (Boys’ & Girls’) Tourney begins today

The Everest Pharmaceuticals Limited Mini School Handball Tournament will begin at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium (SCMMANHS) in the capital today. Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF) will arrange the handball competition under auspices of Everest Pharmaceuticals Limited.

Marking the upcoming handball meet, a press conference was held at the conference room of SCMMANHS on Thursday.

General Secretary of BHF Asaduzzaman Kohinoor, Managing Director of Everest Pharmaceuticals Limited Md Zakir Hossain, Chairman of the Tournament Committee and Director of Everest Pharmaceuticals Limited Mohammad Moznu Mollah, Secretary of the Tournament (Girls’ Group) Lajul Karim Kasturi, Secretary of the Tournament (Boys’ Group) Md Salim Mia Babu were present at the conference.

A total of 16 teams splitting into four groups are taking part in the Boys’ Group, while a total of 12 teams splitting into four groups are competing in the Girls’ Group.

After the conference, the jersey unveiling programme was held at the same venue on the same day.

Md Zakir Hossain will inaugurate the tournament for the under-10 boys and girls as the chief guest today.

The Handball (Boys’ & Girls’) Tournament will come to an end on March 11.
