Sonali Bank launches services with Meghna Bank

Sonali Bank PLC launched its’ services with Meghna Bank PLC to collect pension scheme instalments, various charges, and fees through mobile financial service ‘MeghnaPay Wallet’ and internet banking portal by using Sonali Payment Gateway.
Sonali Banl PLC CEO and Managing Director Md Afzal Karim and Meghna Bank PLC Chairnman H N Ashequr Rahman inaugurated the services at a city hotel on Tuesday, according to a media release.
Under the agreement, Meghna Bank PLC customers can pay their chalan, utility bill, pension scheme instalments, and various charge-fees by using Sonali Bank payment gateway services while staying at home round the clock.
So far, a total of 872 institutions, both government and non-government, use Sonali Payment Gateway services to collect their fees and other charges, the release says.
Among others, Sonali Bank PLC Deputy Managing Directors Sanchia Binte Ali, Parsoma Alam, Meghna Bank PLC Managing Director and CEO (CC) Kimiwa Saddat and other high officials of both organisations were also present on the occasion.
