2,38,579 pry teachers to be hired in 12yrs

In the last 12 years, 2,38,579 teachers have been appointed in primary schools, said Rumana Ali, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education.
She said this in response to M. Abdul Latif’s written question during the question and answer session of the National Parliament session on Sunday. Speaker of the session Shirin Sharmin Chowdhury also presiding over it.
She said that in the last year, 2,38,579 teachers, including 5205 head teachers and 2,33,374 assistant teachers, have been appointed for primary schools. During this period, the jobs of 1 lakh, 4 thousand, and 875 private and registered primary school teachers have been officialized.
In response to another question by Noakhali-3 Constituency MP, Md.Mamunur Rashid Kiron , The state minister said that after the announcement of the nationalization of private primary schools by the Prime Minister in 2013, no more private primary school registrations were given.
Currently, the Private Primary School Registration Policy 2023 has been formulated. In light of the policy, the process of bringing all private primary schools under registration is ongoing. However, 31 private primary schools in Noakhali district have been nationalized in the last 14 years.
