Tk20 rises per kg sugar before Ramadan

Bangladesh Sugar & Food Industries Corporation (BSFIC) has fixed government sugar mills per kilogram sugar price at Tk160 by increasing Tk20 in retail.

BSFIC reveled the information in a press release on Thursday.

The BSFIC produced sugar price has been re-fixed in line with the international and domestic market. Government co-operation is needed to control the sugar market ahead of Holy Ramadan, the press release said.

It’s been fixed that BSFIC’s produced 50 kg sack sugar mill gate sale price Tk150 (per kg), dealer sale price Tk157 (per kg).

Furthermore, BSFIC’s produced one kilogram packet sugar’s mill gate or corporate super shop sale price Tk155 while other super shop Sugar Building basement and market sale price Tk160.
