Stock market investors fear in 22 companies

Investors of the country’s both bourse feared the continue falling of the main index of 22 listed companies since Monday of the previous week. Index of the market significantly drooped continued for four straight days till Thursday.
Investors hope to see to turn the markets index from yesterday. But the condition intensified as the shares of 22 companies were suddenly shifted to ‘Z’ category. On Sunday, the DSE’s main index declined by 53 points while it is drooped more than 24 points on Monday.

Market analysts said that the drop of the index on Monday has slowed down trend compared to the previous day and the volume of transactions has also declined which is positive sign for the market.
Selling pressure of investors also declined for the fallen of index. This is also positive sign for market setback. This losing trend of index may stop from on Tuesday (today) and the market may gain its losing points again, predict the analysts.
Monday’s market review
On Monday, the second working day of the week, the main index of DSE, DSEX fixed at 6 thousand 258 points down by 24.25 points. Among the other two indices, the DSE Shariah Index stopped at 1,361 points down by 7.50 points. Though the DSE index bush by 30 points. It inflated to 2131 points up by 1.99 points.
On Monday, shares and units of a total worth of Tk 818.58 million were traded in DSE while Tk 924 crore and 73 lakh were traded on the previous working day. Shares and units of total 404 companies traded at DSE on the day. Among them, 97 listed companies prices increased while dropped for 245 and 52 companies prices remained unchanged.
