Chhatra League president hacked in Lohagara

Miscreants seriously injured Baro Auliya University College Chhatra League President Ariful Islam of Chattogram’s Lohagara upazila on Wednesday. Injured Ariful Islam is the son of Mohammad Hasan of that area. In this incident, 12 people have been named accused in the police station. The police arrested Md Jamal (45), son of Noor Ahmed of that area.
Shahina Akhtar (40), the mother of injured student league leader Ariful Islam, filed the case at the police station on Thursday (February 15) afternoon. In the case, 8 people were made unknown accused.
According to eyewitness sources, Ariful Islam and his friend Mohammad Ismail were going home by bike. A group of miscreants emerging from the east stopped them. At one point, Ariful attacked Islam with a sharp weapon.
