Ghulam Sarwar buried in his family graveyard

Khawaja Ghulam Sarwar, former Member (Customs) of the National Board of Revenue (NBR), passed away on Wednesday.
He was undergoing treatement at the Khawaja Yunus Ali Hospital in Enayetpur, Sirajgonj. His Janaza was held at his family home and later buried at his family graveyard in Enayatpur of Sirajgonj, according to a press release.
During his long career in Bangladesh Customs he held various postitions since joining in 1968. He served as Collector of Customs, Chittagong Custom House from 1987 to 1989 and from 1989 to 1992 in Dhaka Customs House as Customs Collector.
And from 1993 to 1999 he was Member, National Board of Revenue (NBR). He did his Honors and Msters from Dhaka University in Economics. Later in 1982 he went to Harvard University, USA to complete one year specialised training on Tax Law.
