Ship carrying metro-rail materials reaches Mongla Port

A foreign commercial ship named “MV. Kyeo Koral” carrying the national flag of Panama and loading 491 pieces cemented piles for Dhaka Metro-rails arrived at Mongla Port (in Bagerhat district) on Tuesday afternoon and anchored with the Jetty No.07 of the Port.
The ship left Vietnam Sea Port carrying the materials for Dhaka Metro-rail materials for Mongla Port. Md. Wahiduzzaman, Manager of M/S. Ancient Steam Ship Company, the local agent of the ship told, the ship anchored with Jetty No.07 of Mongla Port and the unloading work of the imported Metro-rail materials is going on and after the completion of the unloading works the materials will be sent to Diabari Metrorail depot of Dhaka Uttara by burges.
