BPL Cricket restarts today

After two-day hiatus, the Ispahani Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket will restart at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chattogram today.

Chattogram Challengers will take on Comilla Victorians in the day’s first match, which will begin at 1.30pm, while Rangpur Riders will face Khulna Tigers in the day’s second match, which will start at 6.30pm.

Private satellite sports channel T Sports and private satellite channel GTV will telecast the matches live.

Rangpur Riders have achieved the top position in the points table with 12 points from 18 matches.

Comilla Victorians have secured the second position with 10 points from seven matches, while Chattogram Challengers have obtained the third position with 10 points from eight matches.

Fortune Barishal have attained the fourth position with eight points from eight points, while Khulna Tigers have taken the fifth position with eight points from seven matchers.

Sylhet Strikers have earned the sixth spot with six points from nine matches.

Durdanto Dhaka remained with bottom position with two points from nine matches. (As per net run rate also).

Mohammad Naim of Durdanto Dhaka is the top scorer with 266 runs with an average of 29.55. Babar Azam of Rangpur Riders is the second highest scorer with 251 runs with an average of 50.20.

Towhid Hridoy of Comilla Victorians is the third highest scorer with 250 runs with an average of 41.66.

Hridoy is the only batter, who hit a century in this year’s BPL edition. He remained unbeaten with 108 runs.
