MANIKGANJ: Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Md. Sabirul Islam declares Manikganj as ‘scout district’ in a ceremony held in the town recently. Deputy Commissioner Rehana Akhtar of Manikganj presided over the programme with Shukla Sarkar, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) as special guest. Former national athlete Scouter Md. Altaf Hussain (Wood Badger), among others, was present on the occasion.
