We have to unite against western propaganda: Liberation War Minister

The western world says about humanity, human right and such things across the world and make propaganda against different countries based on this but in case of their own interest, they use it on their self-dimension and violate the humanity if necessary.

Minister AKM Mozammel Huq of Liberation War Affairs said this while addressing a discussion meeting titled’Islamic Revolution in Iran and Its New Message’ held at Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury Auditorium of University of Dhaka.

“All the oppressed people of the world, we need to unite now against this western propaganda. If the conscious world does not raise their voice against them, then their torture will continue for years,” the Minister said.

The Embassy of Iran, Cultural Centre organised the event yesterday on the occasion of 45th Anniversary of the Glorious Victory of the Islamic Revolution in Iran.

“If there is any disturbance happen centering the election of Bangladesh, then it is termed that human rights have gone out, but when they are killing 3 million people in Palestine, but there is no humanity. This is the name of western humanity,” Mozammel added.

The minister also said that the western world similarly propagates lie in the name of humanity in Iran. If Iran has nuclear power, it is crime but when they have nuclear power, when they kill people, no one speaks against it. They did the same thing against Saddam in Iraq.

Mr. Mansour Chavoshi, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bangladesh and Prof Dr Zia Rahman, Dean of Social Sciences Faculty of DU addressed the event as special guests chaired by Mr. Seyed Reza Mirmohammadi, Cultural Counsellor of Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Prof Dr. KM Saiful Islam Khan of Persian Language & Literature Department and Maolana Dr. Mohammad Kafiluddin Sarker Salehi, Board of Governors of Bangladesh Islamic Foundation delivered speech at the event.

“The Iranian Islamic revolution unveiled the new horizon for Muslim and the world people also.

We suffered exploitation like Iranian people during British emperor. And after making Pakistan, they exploited the Bengali people and we finally have made free your land by blood,” KM Mozammel Haque added.

The minister also expressed gratefulness as a Muslim that the Iran have made a lot of prosper under a number of adverse situation like sanction.
