Mobile court seizes illegal nets

Chittagong: A mobile court seized four thousand meters surrounded by a raid on the Halda River. The raid was led by Executive Magistrate and Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) ABM Mashiuzzaman on Tuesday (February 8th) from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm.
It is learned that Garduara and Madarsha Union and the Halda river on the border part of the Rouzan border were seized by four four thousand meters surrounded nets. IDF officials, village police members and volunteers of the upazila administration assisted in the operation.Hathazari Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) ABM Mashiuzzaman said the operation would continue to protect the fish of the Halda river.
