Sports Minister visits BFF President

Minister for Youth and Sports Nazmul Hassan, MP, called on President of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) Kazi Salahuddin at his residence in the capital on Tuesday.

Kazi Salahuddin has been taking rest at home after bypass surgery. Nazmul Hassan talked to Kazi Salahuddin at least 20 minutes in his courtesy visit at Salahuddin’s residence.

After the courtesy visit, Kazi Salahuddin didn’t talk to media for his illness and restrictions.

But after the visit, Nazmul Hassan talked to the media.

It may be mentioned that there was a cold war between the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) and BFF for a long time.

Nazmul Hassan is also the President of BCB. Last year Nazmul Hassan and Kazi Salahuddin argued about the visit of Bangladesh Women’s Football team in Myanmar to take part in the Olympic Qualifiers.

After yesterday’s discussion, Nazmul Hassan said, ” Our relation is for a long time.

In one day the relation could not go into vain.”

Hassan said, ” I went to the stadium to watch his eye-catching football performance.

He was a legend footballer. There is no footballer like him in our country now.”

Nazmul Hassan is now the BCB boss, while Kazi Salahuddin is now the BFF supreme.

Hassan said, ” He may be disheartened by my remark. But our relation never come to an end.”
