DNCRP fines pharmacies

The Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) on Monday have conducted in 3 pharmacies in the town and also fined Tk 15,000 for keeping expired and selling doctor’s sample medicines.
DNCRP Assistant Director (AD) Rehdoy Ronjon Bonik led the drives supported by District Police.
The pharmacy are , Haji Pharmacy fines tk 5ooo, Safa Medical Hall fines tk. 5, ooo and Waliullah Medicald Medical tk. 5,ooo . DNCRP in Kishoreganj , Assistant Director (AD) Rahdoy Ranjan Bonik confirmed the matter and also said expired medicines and samples were found in the establishments during the operation. Later they were fined under the Consumer Protection Act -2009.
Traders and public are cautioned in buying and selling these drugs. Campaign will continue in public interest, DNCRP AD added.
