‘Kashmir Solidarity Day’ observes in Dhaka

High Commission for Pakistan to Bangladesh on Monday organised an event to observe “Kashmir Solidarity Day.”
Members of Pakistani diaspora, representatives of civil society and local journalists attended the event.
Kashmir and Pakistanis around the world commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day every year on February 5 to express support for the just struggle of the people of Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The messages of the leadership of Pakistan including the President, the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister were read out on the occasion.
In their messages, President of Pakistan Dr. Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar paid rich tributes to the brave Kashmiri people for their steadfast resistance against India’s unlawful occupation and reaffirmed Pakistan’s unflinching support to them until the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.
