Forum panel files its nomination for upcoming BGMEA polls

Candidates of Forum, a panel of the garment manufacturers of Bangladesh, submitted their nomination forms on Saturday for the upcoming elections of the Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMEA.)
On their behalf, panel leader and former senior vice-president of the BGMEA Faisal Samad, former BGMEA presidents Anisur Rahman Sinha and Anwar-ul Alam Chowdhury Parvez submitted the papers at the BGMEA Complex at Uttara of the capital.
The BGMEA board of directors election for 2024-2026 will be held on March 9. Some 41 candidates submitted nomination papers for the upcoming election.
Among them, 29 from Dhaka region and 12 from Chittagong region.
During the nomination submission event, former vice-presidents of BGMEA Alamgir Z Rahman, Benazir Ahmed, former director Engineer Nurul Haque, former first vice-president and Forum President Md Abdus Salam, Asif Ibrahin, general secretary of “Forum” and chairman of Chittagong Stock Exchange, forum senior vice-president Inamul Haque Khan, and Former DCCI President Osama Taseer were also present.
