Democracy Olympiad held at Lalmonirhat

A democracy Olympiad was held at Lalmonirhat on Wednesday with the aim of voter awareness and civic activism activities.
President of Lalmonirhat district branch and convener of democracy olympiad Guerilla leader SM Shafiqul Islam Kanu presided over the democracy olympiad as the chief guest was Professor Yusuf Ali, principal of Lalmonirhat government college. Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Noore Tasnim, Principal Dr. SM Manwarul Islam, Adv. Chitta ranjan Roy, Principal Sudan Chandra Roy.
Dilip Kumar Sarkar, Project Manager of The Hunger Project and Rajesh Dey, Regional Coordinator coordinated the event.
More than 3 hundred students participated in the Democracy Olympiad organized by The Hunger Project in the Sheikh Kamal Hall Room of Lalmonirhat Government College. A general knowledge test was conducted for the students. The oath is recited to inspire the students to practice democracy.
The top 10 selected in the examination and the top 3 got the honorable mention. Certificates are also given to all the examinees.
