Man hacked to death

A man was hacked to death reportedly by his neighbour in Biswanath upazila of Sylhet district on Friday night. The deceased was Delwar Hossain, 35.
Quoting locals, officer-in-charge of Biswanath Police Station Ramaprasad Chakraborty said members of Delwar’s family and his neighbouring house locked into an altercation over trifling matter. At one stage, Delwar was attacked with a sharp weapon; the official said adding that the injured was rushed to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital, where the duty doctor declared him dead.
