38th death anniv of Ismail Mia today

38th death anniversary of the first chairman of Bir Mukti Joddha Senbagh Upazila late Ismail Mia, on the initiative of Ismail Mia Memorial Sangsad, Bad Asr Korankhani, Milad and Dua have been organized on Thursday at Batakandi Gram Bazar Jame Masjid.

Heroic freedom fighter late Ismail Mia was involved in Jasdar politics of Senbagh and was elected as the first upazila chairman by popular vote.

He spent the last days of his life by the side of the people everywhere.

On the occasion of the said 38th death anniversary, President of Smriti Sangsad, former student leader and President of Senbagh Professional Council of Dhaka, Hasan Manjur is requesting the people, relatives and well-wishers from all walks of life of Senbagh Upazila to pray for his departed soul.
