Forgery: EC orders changing password of NID officials

Aiming to control national identity cards forgery and information leak, the Election Commission (EC) has ordered to change system password in every month to NID wing officials.

NID Wing Director General (DG) A K M Humayun Kabir has already sent the directives to field level.

The notification said Upazila Nirbachan officer, senior zilla/ zilla Nirbachan officer, regional Nirbachan officer and NID wing Card management system’s (CMS) are asked to change user ID password in every month.
