NRB Bank chairman honoured with CIP status for 11th straight year

Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman, chairman of NRB Bank Ltd, and chairman & managing director of Al Haramain Perfumes Group of Companies, UAE, was honoured as commercially important person (CIP) by the government recently.
From his family, his spouse Bayzun N Chowdhury, director of NRB Bank; his son Mohammed Emadur Rahman, director of Al Arafah Islami Bank, daughter in law Farhana Ahmed, shareholder of NRB Bank, younger brother Mohammed Oliur Rahman, director of NRBC Bank, and two nephews Dr. Mohammed Ehsanur Rahman & Mohammed Ashfaqur Rahman, both directors of NRB Bank, were also honoured with CIP status for their outstanding contributions to the country’s economy.
Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman received the award from Imran Ahmad, MP, Minister of Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment, at a ceremony held at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC), Dhaka on December 30, 2023.
