Night guard’s body recovered in Shahzadpur

The dead body of the night guard was found inside the RK Textile Mill next to Bogrua Nagarbari highway in Shahzadpur upazila of Sirajganj. It is known that the name of the deceased is Ferdous Ali (18), father Md. Akkas Ali, village Mashipur, police station Shahzadpur district Sirajganj. According to police sources,
Deceased Ferdous Ali worked as a night guard at RK Textile Mills. On 05/01/2023 at approximately 06.00 in the evening deceased Md. Ferdous Ali came to his workplace. Even though it was morning, he did not return home. Family members came to the factory and did not find him. They then continued their search and filed a missing diary at Shahzadpur police station.
Later, with the help of information technology, the killer was arrested. According to his information (January 10), the dead body of Ferdous was found buried under the ground inside RK Textile Mills at around 10:00 AM on Wednesday.
Preliminary investigation revealed that the arrested Mamun came to the factory to steal. At that time he had an argument with the night guard. At one point, Mamun hit Ferdous on the head and he fell to the ground. He then held a blanket over the victim’s face to ensure death. He then buried her body on the ground and left with the victim’s mobile phone. The police recovered a mobile phone of the victim, a blanket used in the murder and a pair of shoes from the spot.Additional Superintendent of Police of Shahzadpur Circle Md. Kamruzzaman, Officer-in-charge of Shahzadpur Police Station Md. Khairul Bashar, Inspector Investigation and Beat Officer visited the spot.
The post-mortem report of the body has been prepared and sent to Sirajganj Medical Center for post-mortem.
The case is pending. It is being investigated whether anyone else was involved in the incident.
