Grocery gutted in Shahzadpur

A grocery store was gutted in a terrible fire in Porjana market of Shahzadpur upazila of Sirajganj.

The fire incident happened around 1.30 pm on Monday.

After receiving the information, a fire service team arrived and brought the fire under control after trying for about 2 hours.

According to shop owner Anando Kumar Ghosh, the store owner Anando Kumar Ghosh has caused a loss of Rs.

Local resident and shop owner Anand Kumar Ghosh, who went to the spot on Tuesday morning, said that the shop caught fire around 1.30 am on Monday.

Within moments, flames began to shoot out from inside the shop.

Later, the fire service was informed and brought the fire under control around 2 am.

By that time, the store’s goods were burnt to ashes.
