Mokbul Hossain elected from Pabna-3 constituency

Md. Mokbul Hossain was elected MP for the fourth consecutive time with a margin of 19,310 votes in the 12th National Parliament Election 2024. From the peak of popularity as an Awami League nominated candidate, he again proved himself unchallenged.
Pabna-3 constituency includes Bhangura, Chatmohar, and Faridpur upazilas. Eight candidates are contesting here, but there is a close fight between the boat and the independent candidate’s symbol Truck. Mokbul Hossain won by getting 1,19,469 votes in the boat symbol. His nearest rival Abdul Hamid Master got 1,00,159 votes in the Truck symbol.
