AL makes us scapegoat: GM Quader

Staff Reporter :
Jatiya Party (JaPa) Chairman GM Quader on Sunday alleged that the ruling Awami League was conducting the 12th national elections in its old manner through resorting to occupying polling centers and rigging votes.

Meanwhile, at least 14 candidates in different places have boycotted the 12th national election alleging vote rigging by the ruling party.

“I have received information that our agents are being ousted from various poling centers including those in Jamalpur and Cuomilla district. Awami League this time also occupied the polling stations and looted the people’s rights through stealing votes like in the past.

Though the AL had repeatedly assured us that no such thing would happen this time,” GM Quader made this comment while talking to reporters after monitoring polling stations of Rangpur-3 constituency on Sunday.

He said that they always feared that after bringing in the 12th national election AL would slaughter them.

“One-party rule will be established by AL in the country through sacrificing JaPa, which is proved today,” GM Quader said.

We are concerned as obstruction created in many places.”
