Channu blames too much spread of money

Sr. Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj :

The General Secretary of Jatiya Party (Japa), former minister Mujibul Haque Chunnu said that the spread of money in this election is too much. Voters are being intimidated by some quarters not to come to the polling station.
He said these things after voting at Kajla Government Primary School polling station in Tarail Upazila of Kishoreganj on Sunday morning.
Mujibul Haque Chunnu said, voter turnout is low in the morning. But as time goes on, maybe the attendance will increase. From here it is not possible to tell the situation of the voters of all the centers. An incident happened here last night as well. I have done many other elections, but this election is different.
In Kishoreganj-3 (Karimganj-Tarail) constituency, Jatiya Party Secretary General Mujibul Haque Chunnu’s nomination was withdrawn. Even so, four independent candidates are in the field in the electoral battle against Mujibul Haque Chunnu after being deprived of Awami League’s nomination from the seat.
