Cousins found dead at home in Patuakhali

Two cousins died at Atoshkhali village in Baufal upazila of Patuakhali district last night.
The deceased were identified as Selim Munshi, 40, son of Khorshed Munshi, and Alauddin Munshi, 50, son of Amir Hossain Munshi, of the upazila.

According to locals, Selim and Alauddin had been at loggerheads over the ownership of a piece of land for a long time.

At 10:30 pm last night, a group of miscreants intercepted Selim on his way home and stabbed him indiscriminately, leaving him dead. Alauddin, meanwhile, was found dead at his residence last night.
