BARISHAL: Barishal City Corporation Mayor Abul Khair Abdullah Khokon Seniyabat and Awami League leader Abul Hasan Abdulullah, among others, on Tuesday attend a prayer occasion arranged for the salvation of the soul of late Laila Shamim Ara, wife of State Minister for Water Resources Col. (Rtd.) Zahid Farooq, MP who is also an Awami League candidate from Barishal-5 Constituency in the upcoming national polls. Laila Shamim Ara died at Raila Institute and Medical Center in Chennai, India on 21 this month.
