Train fire miscreants identified: DB

The saboteurs, who are involved in the Mohanganj Express train fire incident in Tejgaon, have already been identified. Intelligence surveillance is underway to arrest them, said DB chief and Additional Commissioner of Police Harun-Or-Rashid.

The DB chief said this while addressing the media at DB office in the capital’s Minto Road on Thursday noon.

Harun-Or-Rashid also said that setting fire to train is not a political issue, it is a form of roguish activity. Those who set fire in train compartments, will not be spared. DB Police along with other law enforcement agencies are working.

Already footage and evidence of the incident have been collected.

Earlier, four people, including a woman and her son, were killed as arsonists set three coaches of a train on fire near in Dhaka’s Tejgaon Railway Station on Tuesday.
