S A Shofiee, Sylhet :

In the third consecutive term, the present Awami League government successfully completed some major projects including social security in the country, but in some cases, the pledge announced in the manifesto could not be fully implemented. In particular, corruption prevention, counter-terrorism and drug eradication have shown extreme failure.

And those involved in the question of human rights governance are accusing them of failing to implement the commitments announced in the manifesto.

In the long efforts of the Minister of State for the development of railways, initiatives have been taken to convert the meter gauge railway to dual gauge in Sylhet-Akhaura section.

Dr. A k Abdul Momen Foreign Minister sent a proposal to the Minister of Shipping to dig 114 small and big rivers in Sylhet Division to increase the use of waterways and flood control.
