DMP issues traffic guidelines for Victory Day

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has issued guidelines for vehicular movement at key points in the capital on the occasion of Victory Day, to be celebrated on Saturday.

DMP Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Md Munibur Rahman stated that on that day, a wide range of persons, including the president, prime minister, VVIPs, VIPs, and guests, will visit the National Martyrs’ Monument from 4:30am, reports BSS.

Buses, minibuses, trucks, and lorries are urged to avoid Gabtoli, Amin Bazar Bridge-Savar Road from 3:30am to 9am on Saturday. The vehicles have been asked to use alternative routes.

Dhaka-bound vehicles using the Amin Bazar route from Aricha have been requested to enter Dhaka via Nabinagar Bazar.
