Int’l flights disrupted for 8 hours at HSIA

No international flights could land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) from midnight to 8am on Tuesday due to dense fog,
Ten passenger flights and one cargo flight were diverted to nearby airports such as Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kuala Lumpur, and Bangkok for eight hours, airport officials said.
Moderate to thick fog is forecasted to envelop parts of Bangladesh from midnight to morning, contributing to reduced visibility in affected areas on Tuesday.
Night and day temperatures may fall slightly over the country.
