Workshop held in Joypurhat

A district workshop titled ‘Role of temple-based children and mass education programs in achieving sustainable development goals and promoting moral education’ was held at Joypurhat.
Temple-based children and mass education program 6th stage, Hindu Religious Welfare Trust and the initiative of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and the overall cooperation of the district administration were held in this workshop on Wednesday at Sadar Upazila Parishad Auditorium.
Additional Deputy Commissioner Sabur Ali, Sadar Upazila Parishad Chairman Solaiman Ali, Upazila Executive Officer Arafat Hossain Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Ishtiaq Alam, District Ansar and VDP Commandant Mirza Sifat-e-Khoda, District Hindu Buddhist Christian Unity Parishad spoke in the workshop. President Shyamal Kumar Saha and others.
At that time, teachers, guardians, Puja celebration council and monitoring committee members were present. Children and mass education programs are running in 53 temples in the district. Where children are given religious education along with text books.
