Truck torched in Kuliarchar

A group of miscreants poured petrol on a full truck and set on fire at Doaria kandhi area in Kuliarchar upazila of Kishoreganj on Sunday midnight around 2.15.

The front part of the truck was burnt. On information police and fire service unit went and brought the fire under control.

The Fire Service in Kuliarchar Station Officer Rakibuddin Bhuiyan said, after receiving the information that the truck was set on fire, we quickly reached the spot and brought the fire under control after half an hour.

According to fire service sources, a truck carrying 20 tons of TSP was going to BADC Kuliachar warehouse from the warehouse of Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) in Muktarpur of Munshiganj. A few tons of manure was also damaged.
