Illegal China Doari current net burnt in Mirzapur

Executive Magistrate and AC (Land) Masudur Rahman burnt the illegal China Doari current net after raiding in Mirzapur of Tangail. About 1,000 meters of illegal China Doari current net was burnt in Pardighi village under Fatepur Union of Mirzapur Upazila on Monday, according to the office of the Assistant Commissioner (Land).

According to Mirzapur Upazila AC (Land) Office and Fisheries Office, an unscrupulous gang is hunting different species of fishes by throwing illegal China doari current nets in different canals and ponds of Mirzapur municipality and 14 unions.

On Monday, Executive Magistrate and Assistant Commissioner (Land) Masudur Rahman conducted raids on various canal banks of Fatepur Union after receiving secret information.

The members of the Asadhu gang fled on hearing the news of the raid. At this time, about 1000 meters of illegal China dori current net was burnt after recovery. No one involved in the incident was arrested.
